| On May
24th 2007 the Safety Council participated at The Breakers Hotel Health &
Safety Fair. There were hundreds of employees at the event. We brought our
new pedal car to the this event along with the impairment goggles. When
wearing these goggles it gives you the impression of being impaired. We
have now paired the goggles with he pedal so individuals understand what
is like to drink and drive. The obstacle course was well received. For the
member companies of the Safety Council if you would like us to come to
your event please contact us.

Motor Vehicle
Guide |
| Every 12 minutes someone dies in a motor vehicle crash,
every 10 seconds an injury occurs and every 5 seconds a crash occurs. Many
of these incidents occur during the workday or during the commute to and
from work. Employers bear the cost for injuries that occur both on and off
the job. Whether you manage a fleet of vehicles, oversee a mobile sales
force or simply employ commuters, by implementing a driver safety program
in the workplace you can greatly reduce the risks faced by your employees
and their families while protecting your company’s bottom line.
