The Safety Council of Palm Beach County, Inc. in cooperation with the motorcycle Safety Institute of Florida, Inc. is pleased to offer motorcycle rider education courses. These courses were developed by the Motorcycle Safety Foundation, Inc, and are taught by MSF certified, professional instructors. Since these courses are approved by the state, graduates are exempted from the requirement of taking the state riding test for motorcycle endorsement.
The Motorcycle Rider Course
ERC is a course for riders who already own and ride motorcycles, and are interested in state of the art motorcycle handling techniques or just brushing up on their street riding skills. The course consists of forum discussions and riding activities on your own motorcycle.
Successful Graduates

Will be exempted from the requirement to take the state riding test for your motorcycle operator license endorsement.

May be eligible for discounts on motorcycle parts and accessories from participating dealerships.

May receive an insurance discount from participating companies.

Will receive a Motorcycle Safety Foundation course completion card

Will receive a Motorcycle Safety Foundation reflective helmet decal.
General Information

Students must wear protective gear during riding sessions: helmets, gloves, long pants, long sleeve shirt or jacket, and sturdy shoes or boots that cover the ankles.

Graduates from either course are exempt from the requirement to take the safe riding test for motorcycle license endorsement.

Classes are filled by prepaid advance registration on a first come, first serve basis.

Class is held on Sunday from 7:30am-6:00pm.
