The Safety Council of Palm Beach County, Inc. in cooperation with the motorcycle Safety Institute of Florida, Inc. is pleased to offer motorcycle rider education courses. These courses were developed by the Motorcycle Safety Foundation, Inc, and are taught by MSF certified, professional instructors.

The Motorcycle Rider Course

• Experienced Rider Course (ERC)

ERC is a course for riders who already own and ride motorcycles, and are interested in state of the art motorcycle handling techniques or just brushing up on their street riding skills. The course consists of forum discussions and riding activities on your own motorcycle.

Successful Graduates

• May be eligible for discounts on motorcycle parts and accessories from participating dealerships.

• May receive an insurance discount from participating companies.

• Will receive a Motorcycle Safety Foundation course completion card

• Will receive a Motorcycle Safety Foundation reflective helmet decal.

General Information

• Students must wear protective gear during riding sessions: helmets, gloves, long pants, long sleeve shirt or jacket, and sturdy shoes or boots that cover the ankles.

• Students must have motorcycle endorsement.

• Classes are filled by prepaid advance registration on a first come, first serve basis.

• Cost is $135.00.
