
320.02(1) Effective July 1, 2008, a motorcycle, motor driven cycle or moped
registration may not be issued unless the registrant has a motorcycle
endorsement on their driver license.
322.12(5) (a) Effective July 1, 2008, all applicants for a motorcycle
endorsement must show proof of completion of the motorcycle safety course.
The Safety Council of Palm Beach County, Inc. in cooperation with the motorcycle Safety Institute of Florida, Inc. is pleased to offer motorcycle rider education courses. These courses were developed by the Motorcycle Safety Foundation, Inc, and are taught by MSF
certified, professional instructors. This course is required by all
individuals seeking a motorcycle endorsement.
The Motorcycle Rider Course
This is a complete course of instruction for people of all ages who are interested in developing safe street riding skills.
This course is required for all applicants. The course consists of classroom preparation and intensive cycle riding activities which provide first hand experience in the various maneuvers and demanding situations encountered in street riding.
Successful Graduates

Results
will be electronically forwarded to the Department of Highway Safety & Motor
Vehicle.

May be eligible for discounts on motorcycle parts and accessories from participating dealerships.

May receive an insurance discount from participating companies.

Will receive a Motorcycle Safety Foundation course completion certificate.
General Information

Students must wear protective gear during riding sessions: helmets, gloves, long pants, long sleeve shirt or jacket, and sturdy shoes or boots that cover the ankles.

Classes are filled by prepaid advance registration on a first come, first serve basis.

Classes are held on a Thursday from 6:00pm-10:00pm and all day Saturday & Sunday.
