The Mobile Eyes Program

• The citizen observes what appears to be a DUI Driver.

• The citizen DIALS 911 via their cellular telephone

• The Communication center dispatches the appropriate Law Enforcement agency to the location the caller specifies.

• If the responding officer makes an arrest, the arresting agency retrieves the information regarding the cellular caller (name, address, phone number, code number, etc.) from the Communication Center completes the MOBILE EYES information sheet.

• The arresting agency then faxes said sheet to the Safety Council office.

• A Safety Council employee will verify the caller’s data an request any additional information needed.

• Once the verification process is completed, Safety Council will advise the citizen that they are eligible for a reward.

• The Safety Council will issue a check in the amount of $100.00 to the citizen caller.

Conditions/Exceptions

• A five hundred-lifetime reward limit.

• If the caller contacts police after DUI crash has occurred, he/she is not eligible to receive reward.

• Law Enforcement Officers and Safety Council employees are not eligible to receive a reward.
